Accessibility statement
How we make this website usable for everyone, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.
Last updated: [Date]01Our commitment
TECHIVE wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
02What we have done
- All pages can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and interactive elements meet WCAG colour-contrast requirements. We use a darker shade of our brand orange for small text for this reason.
- Pages use a logical heading structure, and every form field has a visible label.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
- Animations are subtle and stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Videos we publish will include captions.
03Known limitations
We know some parts of the site do not yet fully meet our standard:
- The Arabic version of the site is in progress. Until it is complete, some content is available in English only.
- Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. Contact us and we will provide the information in another format.
- [Add any issues found in testing]
04How we test
We check the site using automated tools, keyboard-only navigation and screen readers including [NVDA and VoiceOver]. This statement was last reviewed on [date] and will be reviewed every six months.
05Feedback and help
If you have difficulty using any part of this site, or need information in a different format, email hello@techive.org with the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within [five working days].
